Built for distributed teams, by a distributed team
We've worked remote for a decade. We know what's missing — and what's broken about the existing tools.
DutyBay started in 2024 when our team — scattered across Bangladesh, Italy, and Spain — realized we were juggling six different tools to run our small agency. Time tracking in one place. Tasks in another. Payments via spreadsheets. Screenshots from a third-party app. Meetings in calendars no one checked.
Every tool was decent. Together, they were chaos.
So we built what we wished existed: one platform that handles the entire workflow of running a remote team. Time, tasks, payroll, meetings, chat — under one login, one bill, one consistent interface.
Today DutyBay is used by 500+ companies in 40+ countries, from solo founders managing freelancers to mid-size agencies running fully distributed teams.
We're still a small team. We still work remote. And we still build the features we ourselves need to run our company — which keeps us honest.
Our values
Honesty over hype
We tell you what works and what doesn't. We don't oversell features. Our trial is free for a reason — try it before you trust us.
Privacy by default
Screenshots auto-delete after 30 days. Employees see their own data. Managers see only their team. No data sales, ever.
Simple, not simplistic
Every feature solves a real problem. We say no to bloat. If we can't explain it in one sentence, we don't ship it.
Remote-first, always
Our team is fully distributed. Our product is built for distributed teams. We eat what we cook.
Listen to customers
Most features come directly from customer requests. We read every support ticket. We talk to users every week.
Trust, but verify
Managers need visibility — but micromanagement breaks teams. We build tools that empower trust, not replace it.

We're growing fast and always looking for talent. Remote-first, async-friendly, no ego policy.
